In 2011, Saint John was among more than 5,200 cities and towns in 135 countries worldwide that switched off lights, and sent a powerful message for action on climate change.

The City of Saint John’s Employee Sustainability Team invite you to get involved in this year’s event.

Saturday, March 31

11-3 pm  Library Level Market Square
Find out about environmental initiatives around the city. There will be displays, information and children’s activities.

2pm Atrium Stage Market Square

City of Saint John’s Municipal Energy Efficiency Program
The City’s Energy Manager will make a presentation about Saint John’s award winning municipal energy efficiency program

8:30 – 9:30 pm
Turn out your lights. We’ll be turning out ours.
