Fire Prevention Week: October 4-10, 2020

This year's National Fire Prevention Week theme is “Serve Up Fire Safety in the Kitchen!”

Fire prevention starts with everyone. Together we can reduce the amount of preventable fires.

When is the last time you replaced your smoke alarm?

The Saint John Fire Department reminds citizens that smoke alarms should be replaced every 10 years. Test your smoke alarms once a month, and be sure to replace the batteries at least once a year.
