Fire Prevention Week : October 6-12, 2019

This year's National Fire Prevention Week theme is “Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. Plan And Practice Your Escape”

Fire prevention starts with everyone. Together we can reduce the amount of preventable fires.

The Saint John Fire Department reminds citizens that smoke alarms should be replaced every 10 years.  Test your smoke alarms once a month, and be sure to replace the batteries at least once a year.

To learn more about protecting your family from fire, join the Saint John Fire Department at any of the following free Fire Prevention Week activities.  Fire prevention staff will be at the following locations with fire prevention handouts and information.
