Online survey: We want to hear your transit needs

An online survey will gather public opinion on current transit service and general mobility throughout Greater Saint John. The survey is part of a number of engagement activities offered by Stantec Consulting to complete an operational audit of the Saint John Transit service in 2020.

The survey will capture demographic information, travel behaviours, customer satisfaction with current transit services, and desires for improvements.

“With this data, we will be able to identify the different profiles of transit users, and understand more about non-users,” says Brian Putre, Transit Advisory Team Lead of Stantec Consulting. “This will help us to identify the various needs and preferences of the community and ensure the audit and recommendations will improve customer service and retain ridership.”

A direct link to the survey is available on the City of Saint John website at www.saintjohn.ca until March 25, 2020.

A public open house is scheduled for this evening, March 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., in the Community Room of the Saint John Police Headquarters at 1 Peel Plaza. Further engagement opportunities such as off-bus conversations and public engagement sessions will take place throughout the coming months.
