Public Advisory: Road closures uptown


Commercial Properties Limited and its Project Manager, FCC Construction, are upgrading the mechanical system at the Brunswick House Building in Uptown Saint John. This upgrade involves the lift of mechanical equipment to the roof of the building.

The work is scheduled to take place over the weekend of April 18/19. Road closures to facilitate the work will start at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17 extending until Monday April 20 at 6:00 a.m.

While work is underway, Chipman Hill will be closed to through traffic. King Street and Market Square westbound lanes will also be closed from Canterbury to Water Street. Parking on King between Chipman Hill and Canterbury Street will remain available but will only be accessible eastbound on King Street.

Saint John Transit will be advising of temporary arrangements for transit users of the Market Square bus stop in front of City Hall.
