Saint John Transit prepares to implement a temporary reduction to its services due to COVID-19

Effective Sunday, April 26, 2020, Saint John Transit will implement a temporary 20% service reduction to all of its routes. There will be no service on Sundays. This decision comes as a result of reduced ridership at this time.

While operating under reduced schedules, all routes will continue to be serviced, with the exception of the Champlain Express and the airport bus stop that was cancelled in March.
All 46 buses within the Saint John Transit fleet now have Plexiglass barriers installed to protect the drivers and allow for the safe collection of fares. Seating on all buses remains limited to 9 passengers plus a driver to allow for safe social distancing practices.

Please see the updated service schedules here.

Handi-Bus Service is a contracted service for persons with physical disabilities who are unable to use regular public transportation. This service remains available for bookings as per its regular hours.
Comex Service is a contracted service to and from the Kennebecasis Valley and Hampton and it remains operational as per its regular schedule.
All passengers are requested to limit their travel to essential services only.
We thank the public for their understanding as we continue to offer reliable Saint John Transit services in the most efficient and safest manner possible.
