Saint John Water customers, there’s a new way to pay


Effective August 25, Saint John Water customers will have a new way to pay their water bills. The City is switching to the Paymentus system. This system will be available to customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Paymentus is an international company with Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance.

Customers will be able to access the system 24/7 via phone or online. General billing inquires will still be answered by City staff Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  All customers can still pay at their banks, in person or through pre-authorized payments. This initiative is part of the overall customer service enhancements taking place at the City of Saint John.

Paymentus is an established leader in secure paperless billing and payment e-solutions including online, mobile, IVR, text, and agent assisted channels, and a full range of communication services.
