Saint John Police Headquarters Sod Turning

Over 50 people turned out in the rain Friday, August 20, 2010 to attend the official sod turning for the new Saint John Police Force Headquarters. Mayor Ivan Court, Minister of Energy, the Honourable Jack Kier, Minister of Energy, and Christopher Waldshulzt, Chairman of the Saint John Board of Police Commissioners delivered remarks to those gathered. The Saint John Police Force Colour Party, members of Saint John Common Council, and members of the New Brunswick Legislative Assembly were also among those who attended.
Site preparation has begun. The project is slated for completion in Spring of 2012.
