Mayor recognizes TD's "Green" contribution to Harbour Passage

On behalf of Saint John Common Council I am tremendously pleased with the announcement of a $500,000 contribution for enhancements to Harbour Passage made by TD Bank Financial Group deputy chairman Frank McKenna on the eve of the bank’s annual general meeting in the City.

This funding, to be used by  Saint John Waterfront Development to build six 'environmental interpretation eco-hubs' along Harbour Passage, will enhance this already fantastic attraction along our waterfront,  and will create an  educational opportunity for all those who make use of Harbour Passage on a daily basis or those just visiting our City who are out for a stroll.  These hubs will provide an interactive experience for our youth, and all citizens, to learn about the environment surrounding Harbour Passage, and will encourage families and individuals to get out and get active.
