30-Jul-2020

Updated: July 31, 2020

The City of Saint John is pleased to announce the Market Place West splash pad is re-opening to the public Saturday, August 1. This facility was closed for two days due to work at the adjacent playground.
Splash pad hours: Wednesdays to Sundays, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

----------

The U.C.T. Kidds Play Park at Market Place West and adjacent Market Place Splash Pad are temporarily closed for planned upgrades. Crews are working in the area today, and are expected to continue until next week, to install the new accessible play surface around the playground.

The area is considered an active construction site, and the area must remain dry while the surface is being installed.

We ask the public to respect the closure and keep children at a safe distance away until all work is complete. The City will notify the public once the park reopens next week.
