On-street parking spaces on Water Street will not be available as of 6 p.m.

Patrons are reminded that businesses in the impacted area remain open. The sidewalk on the eastern side of Water Street will be accessible to pedestrians.

The demolition process is expected to take up to 7 days to complete. Crews will be on site daily between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Nearby businesses and citizens can expect noise disruption during this time. The demolition process will cause considerable dust. Businesses and residents in the area are advised to keep their doors and windows closed during the demolition. Water hoses will be used to reduce the impacts of dust in the air.

Water Street will reopen to motorists once the demolition of the building is complete on or before Friday, June 6. There will be increased truck traffic to and from the site during the removal of the building debris. The cleanup process is expected to take up to five weeks to complete, followed by grading of the site. The total project is scheduled to be completed by July 22.
