Work on the Saint John Harbour Bridge will begin on the weekend. More information is available here.

The Somerset Street project continues. More formation is available here.

Motorists are directed to observe all posted signage and barricades.

Motorists are reminded that fewer cars on the roads means less traffic congestion.

  • Use Saint John Transit (www.thinktransit.com) to reduce the number of cars on the road.
  • Sign up for Community Carpool at www.shareyourride.ca
  • If possible, use flex hours and avoid travelling on weekdays during peak hours.
Traffic advisories will be issued throughout the projects as required. Residents can tune into local radio stations, sign up for email notification at mysaintjohn or follow @cityofsaintjohn on Twitter.

Saint John Harbour Bridge traffic updates are also available on the Province of New Brunswick website at www.gnb.ca or by calling 511.
