Residents on the Lower West Side of Saint John are advised
that there will no parking on Saturday night and Sunday morning on King St.
West from to Ludlow Street, on Ludlow Street from King Street West to Prince
St. and on Prince Street near the intersection with Ludlow Street. Vehicles on
those streets will be ticketed and towed. Temporary No Parking signs will be installed.
On Sunday January 19 and January 26 (weather permitting)
large turbine rotors will be transported from Port Saint John to the Point
Lepreau Generating Station.
Motorists and truck traffic are also advised to
avoid travelling on King Street West, Market Street and Ludlow Street in Saint
John West between 6 and 8 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19, and Sunday, Jan. 26. Delays
can be expected on Route 1 (the provincial highway the runs between St. Stephen
and Saint John) between 7 and 10:30 a.m. on the eastbound and westbound lanes
of Route 1 from Ludlow Street in Saint John West to Route 790 at Lepreau.
