Walk, cycle, ride or drive? Contribute to MoveSJ online

The City has launched an online, interactive tool for citizens to help shape the vision for Saint John’s transportation network. Citizens can rank their priorities and identify areas they’d like to see explored as part of the MoveSJ project.

MoveSJ will result in a transportation master plan for Saint John. It will include implementation and funding strategies to guide development of the City’s transportation network over the next 25 years.

This plan is not just about roads. It will consider transit, parking, active transportation (including cycling and walking) and accessibility.

This exercise is part of the first phase of the three phase project and will contribute to establishing a community vision for the shared transportation network.

The online exercise will complement the household travel telephone survey that focuses on travel patterns launched last month. Participants will be able to compare their priorities with others and are encouraged to share the exercise on social media.
