Which side of the street do I park on? The City reminds residents of changes to on-street parking rules in areas North, West and East

31-Jan-2020

The City of Saint John is currently installing additional street signage to remind vehicle owners of the new year-round alternate side parking schedule for a number of streets in the north, west and east areas of the City.  This new schedule will provide the City with better access to efficiently manage street cleaning, snow removal and street maintenance operations.

From the 1st to the 15th day of each month, parking is allowed on the odd-numbered side of the street.

From the 16th to the last day of each month, parking is allowed on the even-numbered side of the street.

Changeover from one side of the street to the other takes place from 6:01 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on the 15th day and the last day of each month.

The change took effect in early January 2020 and is among a number of items covered under recent amendments to the City of Saint John Traffic By-law.
