Winter storm update

City crews worked throughout the night to clear streets and sidewalks.  All main routes are clear.  Motorists can expect some delays on side streets.  Roads remain icy in spots.  Please allow for extra driving time and use caution.  Plows will continue to operate throughout the day.

Plow operators are working with all available equipment.

City Hall & Facilities: All non-essential services are closed for the afternoon.

Saint John City Market: Closed for the remainder of the day. 

City Arenas & Community Centres: Closed for the remainder of the day.

Saint John Transit
: Buses will be taken off the road at 5:00 p.m.

Traffic Advisories: Roads are slippery, visibility is poor and snow is accumulating. Motorists are asked to drive with extreme caution, keep their lights on and leave a safe distance between those around you.
